Q2 2024 Android Performance of Top Dragon Games in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the dragon-themed gaming category has seen varied performance across its top titles on the Android platform in the US. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the numbers driving these games.

Frost & Flame: King of Avalon saw its revenue increase from $1.86M to a peak of $3.21M before descending to $1.71M. Downloads remained stable in the low 30Ks until a drop to 10K and 11K in the final weeks. Weekly active users started at 189K, peaked at 203K mid-quarter, and ended at 135K.

Zynga's Merge Dragons! experienced fluctuations in revenue, with an initial $2.37M, a dip to $1.41M mid-quarter, and a recovery to $2.1M. Downloads began at 181K and saw a downward trend to 132K. The game's weekly active users decreased from 4.26M to 3.8M.

Dragonscapes Adventure from Century Games PTE. LTD. had a revenue journey starting at $1.48M, dipping to $1.04M, and rising again to $1.52M. Downloads showed significant growth from 223K to a peak of 601K before ending at 245K. Its active users grew from 2.16M to 2.7M, then closed the quarter at 2.1M.

Call of Dragons by FARLIGHT saw revenue that began at $1.83M, decreased to $1.2M, and concluded at $1.19M. Downloads showed a steady increase from 337K to 360K. Weekly active users for the game increased from 1.9M to 2.12M.

Lastly, Dragon Mania Legends by Gameloft SE showed a revenue pattern starting at $943K, dropping to $385K, and climbing back to $420K. Downloads saw a high of 466K in the first week, followed by a decrease, and ended with a slight rise to 125K. Active users saw a dip from 4.15M to 2.88M by the end of the quarter.
